We are proud to announce American Classic Tours has been purchased by Presley Tours. American Classic Tours will continue to operate its own brand of products and service, but now we will be able to supplement our offering with select tours offered by Presley Tours. Presley Tours, started over 50 years ago by Wayman Presley, continues to be owned and managed by the Presley family, with Wayman’s grandson, Larry Rednour, running the company today. Presley Tours has built a great reputation on creative itineraries, well-trained and experienced Travel Directors, and a total commitment to customer satisfaction. Presley also has an industry leading refund and cancellation policy, which has been adopted by American Classic Tours.
We are excited about our 2013 tour offerings, including favorites like Old Cape Cod, North Carolina and the Outer Banks, Lake Superior Circle, and the Smokies. We also have a few newly designed trips like “Gone With The Wind” Experience to Chattanooga and Atlanta and a trip to Greenbrier in Springtime. We have also included some of Presley’s most popular trips like NYC Big Apple, Yellowstone, New England Fall Spectacular, the Canadian Rockies by Amtrak and a Caribbean Cruise. In addition, we have included two new Anniversary Tours from Presley, to Gettysburg’s Hallowed Ground, and the famous Cherokee Trail of Tears. Lastly take a look at Presley’s new “Connections” Tours designed to provide a People to People Connection up close with the local culture, often in an interactive role, and in some cases with an element of adventure. These new trips are designed for smaller group sizes, sometimes as few as 12 guests. This year’s tours include a Safari to Tanzania, Beautiful Costa Rica, Peru and the Ancient Ruins of Machu Picchu and an intimate look into the world of an Amish Community.
