Day 1 – Today we begin our Northwest USA and Alaskan Cruise adventure of a lifetime. We begin our travel towards Lambert International Airport in St. Louis, MO. Our non-stop flight arrives in Seattle, WA, in mid-evening and we transfer to our hotel for a good night’s rest. Lunch and dinner are on your own today.
Day 2 – After an included breakfast at the hotel, we enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Seattle with a local step-on-guide. We will visit the Space Needle for a spectacular view of the Seattle area. We will stop for lunch on our own at Pike’s Place Market, on e of the great markets of the world, where you will also have free time to shop, browse, or stroll this unique Seattle treasure. Later, we stop at the Boeing Plant for a guided tour to see how the large jet lines are manufactured. This evening we enjoy a harbor cruise and dinner before returning to our Seattle hotel for the evening. (B,D)
Day 3 – We begin our day with an included breakfast at the hotel this morning. Our local step-on-guide joins us again to continue our Seattle area tour. We stop for an included lunch on the waterfront. After lunch we journey to the port to begin boarding the Celebrity Infinity, our home for the next seven nights. After settling into our cabins and exploring the ship, we set sail at approximately 4:00 p.m. (B,L,D)
Day 4 – Today we enjoy at day at sea as we cruise from Seattle to Ketchikan, Alaska. Enjoy the sea, the food and the entertainment as we “part the waters”. (B,L,D)
Day 5- Today we visit Ketchikan, Alaska, known as the “Solmon Capital of the World”, and the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who carved the world’s largest collection of totem poles. The ship will be docked in Ketchikan from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (B,L,D)
Day 6 – Today we cruise through Tracy Arm Fjord. This area has everything that you have come to Alaska to see. It is book-ended by two of Alaska’s most dramatic glaciers, the North and South Sawyer Glacier, and surrounded by granite walls that rise 3,000 feet from the emerald colored seas. This afternoon our ship will dock into Juneau, Alaska, the capital of Alaska. The city gracefully balances frontier ruggedness and cosmopolitan flair. Mendenhall Glacier, a river of ice measuring 1.5 miles wide and over 6 miles in length, hugs Juneau’s north side and is part of the Juneau Icefield, a 1500 – square-mile ice field that feeds 38 large glaciers. The ship will sail from Juneau at approx. 10:00 p.m. (B,L,D)
Day 7 – This morning we arrive in Skagway, Alaska around 7:00 a.m. When gold was discovered in the Klondike in 1896, this town was gripped by a serious epidemic of “Gold Fever”, and attracted all kinds of frontier hunters and adventurers. The ship will sail from Skagway at approximately 6:00 p.m. We then cruise through protected Alaska Inside Passage, a complex of fjords and bays where whaler and sea lions find refuge during the summer months. Day 8- Today we are at sea cruising the whole day. Enjoy the experience of cruising on the open sea, the on-board entertainment, and of course, the great food. (B,L,D)
Day 9 – This evening our ship docks in Victoria, British Columbia about 6:00 p.m. Victoria is the capital of British Columbia and is located on Canada’s largest island, Vancouver Island. This sea site enclave and one-time British colony has retained much of its colonial splendor. Thanks to a temperate climate, Victoria blooms with color during the spring and summer months. The Celebrity Infinity sails from Victoria at midnight. (B,L,D)
Day 10 – This morning, our Alaskan Cruise portion of our tour comes to an end as we dock in Seattle about 7:00 a.m. and begin our disembarkment process. Our motor coach is there to meet us to continue our land portion of this tour. After boarding the motor coach, we drive south and make a stop at the Mt. St. Helen’s Visitor Center. We will also see how the area had recovered itself after the May 18, 1980 eruption. Lunch is included today. Later in the afternoon, we drive on to Portland, OR for the night. Dinner is included tonight. (B,L,D)
Day 11- Enjoy your included breakfast at the hotel this morning because today we are scheduled to set sail on a brunch/cruise aboard the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler along the Columbian River. During the cruise, we will enjoy sights such as Boonville Locks and Dam, Bridge of the Gods, Stevenson, Washington, and Wind Mountain. After the cruise, we make the short drive to view Multnomah Falls, the fifth largest falls in the United States. Later in the afternoon, we motorcoach back to Seattle and check into our hotel. Tonight we gather for an included farewell dinner. (B)
Day 12 – After our included breakfast at the hotel, we board the motor coach for our return back to the airport. Our deluxe motor coach will be waiting to transport us back to our individual return locations. There will be a stop for dinner this evening on your own. (B)
